A Nosoi warned us that the rogue Pleroma that previously wiped out a squad of the most powerful associates at the time returned with intention of killing them again, and had assembled a squad consisting of Kali, Serene, Illiam, Grist, and myself. I had previously heard of this incident, and was briefed on how dangerous its orbs of creation and destruction were beforehand. I didn't want to risk losing Ereliss, so I left him to roam in the wilds instead of putting him at risk of annihilation. When we got there, it started incoherently babbling about some sort of test, and it had four Maruts with it, the same lineup as the previous "test" it put associates through. I didn't get to see much of the fight, since one of the Maruts had struck me blind, however Grist was able to restore my vision with a spell, and I then watched as Kali struck down the Pleroma with a spirit blast. It wasn't long before a squad of demons, a Vavakia, a Vrolikai, a Seraptis, and a Katpaskir according to what I remember from some old Hellknight bestiaries, appeared and revealed that they were the ones who set up the Pleroma to go on a rampage, saying that it was supposed to gather a bunch of souls for them. They're too dangerous to be left alive. Illiam hits most of them with a confuse spell, causing some of them to start fighting each other more than they were fighting us, which gave us a huge advantage. We manage to wipe most of them out, with the Vrolikai attempting to bribe us with information before attempting to fly off. As concerning as whatever information this riftspawn would be, there's no chance we're letting it live. It manages to confuse Serene before we kill it, and we're left to deal with her rampage. She immediately takes me down, and when I wake up, she's calmed down, Grist used my last oil of unlife on me, and the Vavakia has flown off somewhere. That thing's a big threat, but I'm sure we can handle it later if it tries anything. For now, we've ended the threat of the rogue Pleroma, and we no longer have to worry about it trying to wipe out a bunch of us again (hopefully)
