Alright, I understand the need for the council to have a report on this.
Let me make it clear; WE DID NOT COME BACK FROM THE DEAD. WE NEVER DIED.
And if there is ANYTHING I have learned from this expedition, it's that I am never not prepping my Dream Magic ever again. We were gone for a couple weeks because I overshot the planar teleport, and suddenly the group is walking in on their own funerals!
... It really was sweet of Lucky to work so hard into pulling all of that together though. I doubt the others are going to explain it in terms quite as blunt as mine, but I'm pretty sure this was the most loved we've felt by this town. Unfortunate circumstances, but there's no denying the truth, given the turnout of the event. I heard the speeches were lovely, but I haven't had the chance to ask Lucky what she said. I don't think she's too proud of what happened, though she really should be.
And with the convenient timing of that day having also been my birthday, I managed to turn it into a fun party instead of a funeral! ̶
A̶l̶e̶ Shadefrost had a... Strange announcement. That her name is Shadefrost now, I guess, with some other random white folks around her.
Overall? Fascinating day.
