Theodore was born in a moderately sized village in a region north of Onadbyr. He started out as a errand boy and herb gatherer for the local apothecary but due to his natural skill at handling herbs he was eventually taken on as an apprentice. He eventually look over the business after the previous owner retired and felt he was finally on his way up when he lost everything.

The region was invaded by an undead hoard in the Fall of 2025 and Theodore would have died along with the rest of his village if not for the intervention of the Spinner of Threads, who for reasons only known to them offered to gift Theodore some power along with a familiar. Theodore, not in any position to refused, accepted the pact and was able to escape due to his newfound gifts. He spent several weeks trying to stay ahead of the undead and using his knowledge of alchemy to survive and defend himself. He eventually managed to make his way south and ended up arriving at Onabyr, with little more than the clothing on his back and his alchemical tools. He hopes to start a new life here and perhaps one day he'll be able to recover what he lost.
