-We get hired to investigate some associates that went missing. -Numbered 5 in total, they were tasked with retrieving an important item. Not much information was given on them or the job. -Apparently they wanted stronger associates, but they ended up hiring us because we were available -Mantella looks distraught, and Lifegiver is nowhere to be seen. It looks like they had a falling out -We split up and look for tracks -Mantella ends up finding tracks that look like they belong to "humanoid-like creatures", one of them is bipedal with hooves -Jovial sees a trail of blood going into a cave -Blood seems to be from one source. Either the thing that injured them doesn't have blood, or it wasn't hurt -Mantella points out that it looks like it could've been an ambush. Might have been a bird, or something else -The one with hooves was walking behind the person who was bleeding -We find some brightly colored creatures, not natural, but very asleep. Some sort of aberration -Mantella says they're called Skrik Nettles. Apparently they eat meat -Mantella dresses up as me. I can't tell the difference -We exit the cave to a clearing with a waterfall, and see a bunch of dead frogs and an injured frog -The living one looks scared. We leave it alone -We find a spot with a lot of blood. Seperate from the trail we were following -Vara finds a giant jellyfish -Looks like an adult stage of the ones we found in the cave -Vara points out that it's was killed by a lot of weapon and magic attacks -A giant spined lizard creature attacks us -It starts eating the jellyfish, we leave it alone -We come to some sort of mushroom forest. Vara notices a floating sack of blood, and a floating corpse -The corpse isn't floating for very long. It falls to the ground. It's hair looks like an onion -We hear sounds of a fight and see some people fighting the strange blood sacs. -The people look familiar. One of them is an elf with hooves, these must be our associates -Two of them immediately get their blood sucked out of them, an orc and a Kholo -I run up to defend them. They seem very surprised. Before I can ask them anything, everything goes black -When I come to, we're in a completely different place, with more of those skrik nettles. The people I was trying to save are gone -The nettles attack. They have strange powers that make people float -They don't like being pierced -One of the mushrooms nearby eats one of the nettles -The Nettles keep floating out of my reach, very annoying. I'm the only one not floating during this fight -Jovial keeps floating higher and higher, about 50 feet off the ground -She hits the ground with a sickening crunch -Thinking quickly, I use my feather token to knock one of the nettles away -Mantella's able to use the tree to maneuver around and heal Jovial -Vara's floating up really high next, they might be in danger -He falls, Sutton catches him, pulls him into a twirl. It's a very impressive maneuver -The battle drags on so long that I just resort to throwing random items at it -Mantella finishes the job -I examine the mushrooms, they seem fey in nature -One of them starts talking. It just wants the jellyfish, and doesn't think we look tasty. It doesn't like the taste of onions. I disguise myself as Mantella because I think it's funny -We find a bunch of items in a sack in a nearby tree stump, including a cake that looks like a skeleton -We meet a shimmer theif. It looks lost, and wants to find its cave. We lead it there -We meet a choir of frogs. They want us to go away so they can practice. We hear something sneezing in a nearby cave. We begin to suspect we're in the first world -The shimmer theif forgot their name, thinks their called Slimmer Theif. Jovial starts calling them Forgot -The mushrooms in the cave are sneezing. A bunch of us also start sneezing -We meet a bunch of Flumphs who don't like their names. -We run into a gnome with brightly colored hair. From the descriptions from other logs and from Melfyra's descriptions, this must be Gnome Ann. -She says she sent out a letter to the council 2 days ago.
