-We get hired to go kill a few cave worms underneath the house of one Drake Biloko
-Drake informs us we might need antidotes so we go get some
-Mantella doesn't come back, but Melfyra shows up instead. It's weird that she didn't bring Adyrha though. Now that I think about it, she looks awfully short
-Drake gives us a letter to deliver to some Nagaji deeper in.
-We consider using a rat as live bait to find the worm. Melfyra's against this. Calamity volunteers to take the mutagen. She also has a plan to use Vara as a bomb.
-We find a dried stain on the ground. Melfyra licks it, says it's blood.
-Mantella catches up with us and tells us Melfyra ran off. The job must've been too much for her
-We find the worms, there's an armored figure charging in to fight them
-The armored figure immediately charges the worms
-The figure distracts one of the worms, the other one charges us. Our frontliners charge the first one in response.
-Our worm swallows Vara. It looks pretty uncomfortable, like it ate something really spicy. Calamity also detonates Vara, it didn't seem to like that
-The armored figure also gets swallowed. The other worm approaches us. Our worm looks pretty injured though, and there's a wall of fire between it and us
-Terog takes a pretty nasty hit. He goes down
-Our worm spits Vara at Mantella. He seems a little on-fire
-The armored figure claws out of their worm. A particularly bird-like fellow with talons
-Boophis attempts to get Terog back up and fails
-Calamity teleports next to it and detonates herself. The worm we were fighting dies. One down, one to go
-Mantella pronounces Terog dead. He performs a resurrection ritual, and he stands up right on the spot. I don't even think my resurrection was that quick
-Calamity teleports next to the last worm and detonates. This one survives a little longer. Just long enough for her to detonate a second time
-It's still up, so Mantella blasts it with a lightning bolt. Vara gets caught in the crossfire
-I catch Mantella attempting to disguise himself as Melfyra. I should probably let her know he's been doing this
-The knight doesn't seem to know there's civilization on the surface. I give him a business card in case he ever needs a lawyer
-He introduces himself as Sir Galahad of the Munavri People
-Apparently the snake people are aggressive. Sir Galahad warns us of them
-Calamity opens the letter. It's a note letting the snake people know that the surface is open. Sir Galahad doesn't like that. Boophis reseals the letter
-Sir Galahad rejects offers to follow us up to the surface. He points out passages that lead to the Munavri and Serpentfolk village. Apparently the people we're supposed to deliver the letter to are at the outpost. We head down a hand-carved path. We see signs of civilization
-We find one of the serpentfolk. They tell us to get on the ground. Boophis delivers the letter with a spell. They don't understand us
-Mantella points out that we're surrounded. I get my shield ready in case a fight breaks out
-Some serpentfolk who speak common approach. They seem impressed when they find out we killed the worm
-The serpentfolk say that the Munavri enslave people. Unforgivable
-We head back to the surface, some of us regret giving Sir Galahad and the serpentfolk information regarding Onadbyr. I'm sure nothing bad could come of it
-We find Sir Galahad and Soil in an argument. They don't have a concept of currency, if we introduce them to money and unions, we can help them pay their workers so it's not slavery. Sir Galahad invokes the hospitality clause in my contract. I tell him that there's gonna be problems if he commits crimes
-It sounds like there's a lot of misunderstandings between the two peoples. I'm sure we can work things out
-Terog informs me that Sir Galahad is a Vilderavn, a creature known for deception at the last second
-I'm telling Melfyra that Mantella was impersonating her
