The party is sent south to recover a missing shipment of peachwood.

I finally got to go on an adventure again! This time we had to go find some priests who were supposed to be bringing us a special kind of wood. They live like three weeks away so I think that they should have hired a guard maybe. There were two Holly Crowns except everyone knew one was Mantella because he didn't even try to hide it but I kept losing track of which one it was. While we were walking the Holly Crowns wanted to talk to Kevin to make sure he was getting paid but it wasn't a day where he knew how to talk so we had to wait til the next day but Kevin only knew Diabolic that day so we had to wait another day so he could know Common. He said he gets to eat plenty of magic paper and get scritches as payment but he doesn't really need gold because he lives in my tattoo. The Holly Crowns thought that was okay. I told them they can come talk to Kevin whenever they want as long as they let me know the day before so I can make sure he knows how to talk.
We walked like three days and we found an abandoned campsite, but all of their stuff was still there! Well, except for the peachwood. I found a leaf that was really important, and then the Holly Crowns also found leaves! Eventually Sahona found some tracks and we started following them. I hit a tree with some lightning and Mantella missed a tree with some lightning but then it hit me back! I asked if it wanted to fight and it hit me again so we sparred. Is it still sparring if the tree died? I promise I didn't mean to kill it! Sahona and Holly Crown and Mantella left while I was fighting the tree but Vara stayed and watched, and we caught back up to them fast, even though the trees kept trying to trip me. It was fun avoiding their roots!
We got further and the trees started to have pink stripes like paint on them but no one could figure out what it was. One of the footprints we were following stopped so we started to look around. The birds that had been following me around lifted me up into the air so I could see better and I found a tree that was all cracked and put back together again. I put my finger in the crack and there was a guy in there! I opened up the tree and Kevin healed him a little bit (he got stabbed a lot with splinters), and he said his name was Romo and he was one of the priests we were looking for. Apparently all the people who follow Pharasma are brothers, isn't that cool? He seemed really interested in my mom. He said that we can be brothers too! So I guess if we're brothers then she's his mom too! Also Vara is my mom!
Romo said that the ground opened up and swallowed the peachwood. Mantella said that it was "the classic signs of a Treerazer". Sahona seemed upset by this. It must be really scary! I hope I get to fight it one day!
Mantella found another body inside a tree but this one got stabbed in the head and died. Romo said his name was Garta. We left him in the tree.
We kept following the tracks and there was a house! Or a cabin. A hut? Anyways the ground made funny noises when we went to the left of the house so we just went inside, and two of my new brothers were there, Ria and Fila! They said before the cart got swallowed up there were a bunch of roots around, and also when they were being chased it was only the trees around them that were moving. That makes sense now, because it was just one guy making them alive! Wait, does that mean that he was following us since some of the trees attacked me earlier?? Anyways we figured out that the pink stuff on the trees was the peachwood being like fed to them but you have to do special stuff to the peachwood to make it actually work so that's why we didn't know it was peachwood. My brothers said that the creature or the forest sensed that they wanted the peachwood back and that's why they attacked. I guess that we didn't want it enough because we were mostly looking for the priests. Or at least I was.
We went back outside to try to lure the creature to us, and a hole opened up under me and Vara and Sahona. I fell a little bit but I caught the edge and jumped right back up, it was fun! But then I looked down and Vara and Sahona were in the hole. Vara pulled on a root and a whole tree came out and started hitting him! A few other trees came alive too but they couldn't actually move. I tried to trip them but they wouldn't budge! Something made all the ground around us hurt and then we saw it through the trees; it was really hard to make out though because it was invisible. I used a new spell Sahona taught me to set off some fireworks near it and it looked like it really hurt!
It was really hard to get around without my wings, but Sahona turned into a dragon, Vara had his own wings, and Mantella cast a spell to make him fly. He kept using his secret move, flying 20 feet up! Even though the plants really didn't like fire, Mantella didn't like it either so he kept slapping them with acid and lightning. It still worked! Holly Crown got big and charged over to the creature and another pit opened up and he fell in! Even though the ground really hurt I followed him, and then the mean tree pushed me into the hole too! Luckily the creature decided to visit our hole so I didn't have to worry about climbing out yet. It stuck its head into the hole, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't hit it! It grabbed Holly Crown and then it came into the hole and pulled us into it! Holly Crown was knocked out by the branches and thorns but I didn't have time for Kevin to heal him before... well. I cut myself out of the creature and Sahona finished it off, but Holly Crown wasn't alive anymore. Kevin tried to heal him just in case, but nothing happened. Then another hole opened up and a devil with knives for hands appeared! He took Holly Crown's soul and Mantella offered to Rock-Paper-Scissors for it but then he tried to make me do it instead. Eventually the devil gave up and left with Holly Crown's soul. I think that means he isn't coming back.
We got some peachwood stuff, including a club that Vara said was named Peaches, and Sahona took a scroll. Kevin took a nibble but spat it out. I think it was only for druids and stuff. They also gave us some gold, and we gave Holly Crown's share to his intern to give to his kids. He must have been a really good dad!
