Associates investigate memories locked within a magical crystal

One of the vendors in town called upon me to investigate a powerful magical artefact. Others arrived as well, almost certainly to pick up the easiest paystub imaginable considering I was around to do the heavy magical lifting. The item in question was a crystal said to store a memory. Not fearing what lay within for even moment, I placed my hand upon the crystal and immediately found myself in the mind of another. A tall sort, but a familiar magical sensation coursing through this person I was inhabiting. Not as impressive as my own, but I don't think anyone could have expected that. The girl was named Agatha, and she was a student of magic under the apprenticeship of stuffy Master. I found myself reading from a tome, something that would happen often over the day I felt inside of this mind, and ughhh it was so boring. Reading experiences and applications of the most basic magic, all of this so useless because they could just cast the magic anyway??? Anyway, this boring stuff didn't last long as another apprentice entered the master's chamber to introduce another master spellcaster. Something was wrong with that other apprentice though, like a feeling in my gut that she had hurt me in some way! And the person she introduced was a muscular man who spoke with so much more energy than the master of the tower, it was clear he knew a thing or two about being powerful. I like him, a lot!! Except then he started talking about applications of magic beyond battle, and I kinda started to drift off. Anyway, I found why I didn't like the other apprentice! It turns out she was super jealous of Agatha's power, and like she if was jealous of this girl? she'd probably have a heartattack seeing me!! I went to the library to ask the muscle guy and the librarian to try and figure out what that other apprentice was up to, turns out she was doing bad things because she was sooooo jealous. She should really take a page from people here in Onadbyr, the spellcasters seem to understand that they just aren't as good as me so they all open shops to make ends meet. So I know this other apprentice did it, but I need more proof to convince the bearded guy so I break into her room and steal her diary to find proof. She's so stupid though? feeling good and boasting that someone way more talented than her got cheated? Another reason I don't like reading, sometimes you have to see bad things like that. Anyway, the next morning I confront her at breakfast, but the master of the tower is also stupid and doesn't believe despite having such a good case and also being that talented. Guess he's a fraud too, at least the muscle guy is a real one and decided to take me to his tower instead. That's when I woke up, I wonder what the other people saw.
