The Lost Valley

The Lost Valley is nestled deep into a mountain range. Within its vast area you can find many breathtaking natural sights, due to the irregularities in its climate. The Lost Valley specifically refers to the largest area, there are many smaller valleys that are unexplored and were the homes of the Valeran-style monsters. Recently, over 40 years after the previous disaster, these monsters began leaving their historic homes. The few surviving records from Valera indicate this event signaled the previous disaster that nearly wiped out the village. These monsters have begun to populate not just the greater Valley region, but the greater wilds of Kelek - some of the smaller and faster varieties have already been spotted within a day's travel of Onadbyr.

Expeditions into the Valley aren't uncommon, but most of the work is currently being conducted by Ysoki Scouts. The Valley contains evidence of a lost civilization, but not much else is known about it.
