Wow! It's been like a year since I've been on any missions so since I've been so bored with only sparring I signed up for the first mission I could which was this one! Unfortunately it wasn't even to kill anybody we just had to help Gnome Ann with stuff which was kinda boring but Miss Amber May played a game with some of the other players and then she let me play which was really fun! I got to be the evil person who was supposed to betray everyone else but I guess we never really got to finish the game so I'm not really sure who won.
Oh, right! To start off the mission we met up at this place outside of town that had a huge dragon head! I found Vliegen on the way and we raced and I won but Vliegen is so cool I like the red on his feathers he's red like me! Also I think Vara was racing too but he was too far behind so I still won. When we all got there we introduced ourselves because I've never met any of these people before and we all did backflips and they all did pretty good except I think Amber May twisted her ankle but she seemed fine after. Even the big robot managed to do one which Vliegen and I both thought was cool.
Anyways after we talked to Gnome Ann, Miss Amber May started playing her game except she was dressed as an old lady for some reason. I was starting to get antsy so I rolled through DOC's legs and the owlbear sitting behind him thought that was cool. I wonder if owlbears can do backflips. DOC went and just worked the medical tent the whole time which I guess is fine but I feel like it would be boring to just stay in the same place the whole time.
While I was wandering around I found some guys who looked like monsters and I asked if they were monsters and they said yes but just for the event which was disappointing. I let everyone know they were there. Vara went the other way looking for other stuff but I don't think he found anything. Vliegen started talking to the other people about hags. I've met a couple hags before and they can be fun to fight but sometimes it can be kinda weird to stab old ladies.
There was this band on the stage except there were no people it was just instruments and people were saying that it was really loud but I didn't really mind because I wasn't ever really that close to the stage but Vara and Melfyra looked like they were trying to make them quieter. Melfyra held a wand up to her ear for a really long time which I thought was weird but maybe she has a hard time hearing and has to use that. I went to this guy who was selling vegetables and his name was Gregorios Jude 2 but he tried to sell me alcohol which was weird. I heard a really loud roar and I thought maybe I would get to fight something but it turns out it was just Melfyra. Vliegen walks by me to go to the guys by the river that were fake monsters and I think I heard them talking about a strike. Later him and Amber May were walking around with a bunch of fish and stuff that they gave the not-monsters and so maybe that had something to do with it. I'm not really sure though because they were right by the river so if they wanted fish they could have just caught some? It's really fun to try to spear fish in the river, even I have trouble with it sometimes because the water is hard to see through and the fish are small and slimy.
I went back to the middle of the town and there was a giant pile of hay that I didn't notice before so I jumped into it but someone put a giant cauldron in it??? I didn't understand that one because why would you make something big and soft and put something hard in it? It only hurt a little bit but I don't know why they didn't expect people to jump into the pile, it was so tall! After that was when Amber May gave me my card. I saw Vara pushing this old guy through a few tents which was also weird because why didn't they just walk around? Also Vara is a lot stronger than he looks. I hope I can spar with him one day! He didn't have any animals hiding in his clothes though.
Melfyra ended up putting a blanket on the drums which I guess made them quieter but people still seemed annoyed. Well Vliegen and Vara seemed annoyed anyways. Amber May disappeared for a moment but when she came back she was wearing a fisherman's uniform. I think maybe they had her be one of the actors. NPCs? It could be players. There was a lot of talking and different names for people and I didn't really get it they all looked the same to me. Everyone kept trying to sell me drinks, too! But I think Amber May said that they weren't actually al-co-ho-lic. But also she still seemed to get drunk so I don't really know if they were or not.
The music got a lot louder and people were covering their ears but the gnome lady that wasn't Gnome Ann told me to walk the owlbear so I did although I'm not really sure what the owlbear was there for. It had a locket around its neck but I figured that was none of my bus-i-ness so I just tied my whip around its collar and started walking out into the woods. I don't think anyone told me how long I was supposed to be gone but it didn't matter because I found some things to fight!!! There were a bunch of worms in the woods and at first I could avoid them easy-peasy but then some of their goo got in my mouth and I got kinda nauseous. Luckily Melfyra showed up with her big dog.
I guess while we were gone there was a fire and Vliegen put it out while Vara and Amber May were trying to so that probably confused them because he can do stuff from so far away. Vliegen said there was some prophecy about worms but they were the wrong color. The worms I fought were pink and weren't very good at falling over but that's okay because it felt so good to fight something again that I didn't have to worry about killing! Oh and Melfyra said that there's this city not very far away that's FILLED with undead that we can just kill!! I don't know why I've been stuck in the city for almost a year when I could have gone out to fight stuff there. I thought about going by myself but I think that Kirrily would be mad if I went without her. Also during the fire some of the masks got burned which was sad but Amber May had some nice paints that she used to fix them with Vara.
Vliegen was the brave hero and I'm not really sure how that happened because I thought that the people that weren't us were supposed to do that? Then some more of those worms I fought came to the place where all the people were and we all fought them and Vliegen used this cool wind thing that was like a boomerang and Amber May really didn't look good but she still punched the worms really hard and it was really cool to see everyone fight!
Even though there were giant worms trying to kill us, I guess there were some people who were fighting about who looked more like Kali but I didn't really get it because neither of them looked like her at all and they also said they weren't playing her in the event thing so I don't really know why it mattered.
We got back to town though and Kali was gone and people were saying that she never existed which I thought was a weird prank. I guess that Serene was gone too? I didn't think that her brother liked to make jokes though. Somebody else said that Zeal was in the council hall but then he wasn't but then no one remembered him. Maybe it was a magic trick. Later Melfyra said that Shade-frost and Grist were also gone but they live outside of the city and I don't think I've ever met them before. Everyone I ask doesn't know who I'm talking about though so I think that maybe Melfyra was making a joke.
I am kind of sad that Serene's gone, I hope she's okay. I really miss sparring with her. She's the only one who I can fight way up high and not have to worry! Plus it's really fun trying to dodge that big fauchard she has. And I know she'll always win, so I don't have to hold back at all! Fighting Zeal was fun too, he was really hard to hit, that armor is so strong! But he couldn't get around nearly as fast as I did, and it was easy to trip him. Oh, and he had big bat wings like me! He wasn't as good at moving around in the sky though.
I'm gonna go find Pomba.
