Melfyra was a particularly curious elf who lived in the druid grove near Lancaster before the undead calamity struck over 50 years ago. Thinking knowledge of death is important to learning about life, she learned forbidden knowledge about the secrets of the undead by reading an ancient tome, and was kicked out of her home for actually succeeding in summoning a ghost. She wandered around Kelek for 50 years, not having anywhere to call home. She met many people on her journey, and eventually heard about what happened in Lancaster. When she saw what became of her former home, she was distraught, and with all the undead in the area, she couldn't see too much, or even mourn for everyone she ever knew. Eventually, she found herself meeting a kind stranger who told her of Onadbyr. She figured a city like that would be a good place to look for sentient undead and occult specialists so she can learn more about how to repel them, and find a way to heal the grove in the process. On the way there, she traveled with a pack of wolves for a bit, because she wanted company. She noticed a wolf pup who was smaller than the other pups, and decided to share food with it. The two became fast friends, and she named the wolf after a friend she really admired and had feelings for, Adyra (Now renamed Adyrha because of shenanigans with the Puzzlemaster). Since arriving in Onadbyr, she met Pomba and got him to help her become a vampire. She's received some hate for doing so, and to feel safe in the city, she moved in with Taru. Since then, she's started worshipping Cayden Caelian, and the two also started dating.

- Melfyra cannot function if left alone with another girl, Taru is the only exception
- Melfyra's birthday is Lamashan 31st
- her favorite band is My Alchemical Romance
- Melfyra dyes her hair. Her hair is naturally a very light shade of green
- Melfyra was never properly taught how to write in any language that isn't Wildsong
- For some reason, she can read common perfectly fine. It's specifically writing she can't comprehend
- After a job where she went to an old library at the request of Gnome Addic and Nudbert, she learned how to write in common.
- The letter C still makes no sense to her
- Melfyra has frostbite on her spell list as a JoJo reference
- Melfyra's bed is just a coffin on a mattress. The mattress is on the floor
- Melfyra ripped up most of the floorboards in her house on Freak Street to grow grass and other plants
- Melfyra doesn't like entering shops and residences without asking permission
- Melfyra doesn't like crossing running water on foot. Boats are fine though

- After the session "Territorial Dispute", Melfyra befriended another wild wolf who lost its entire pack. She's named this wolf Laios.

- Melfyra works part time at a haunted house. There are actual monsters here, but none of them know she's an actual Vampire. To make sure people think it's an act, she uses the stage name Aryflem. Aryflem is also the name of a self-insert oc she made when she was in her 20s
- She mostly just plays a pipe organ (badly) and acts as a fog machine by casting mist
- Melfyra's favorite alcoholic drink is a screwdriver. When not drinking out of her waterskin, she prefers having one of those little toothpick umbrellas on her glass
