Reclamation

The town of Onadbyr was built during the last Cycle as a port town of industry. It was built along The Ripper - a dangerous fast moving current that gushed into the ocean with considerable force, the river floor coated in debris that could pierce, tear, and shred anything caught in its destructive flow. Following The Collapse the town lay mostly abandoned - inhabited by only a few survivalists and nomads until 7 years ago when a large group of migrants chose the relative safety of the walls to settle down. They initially sectioned off the Laybarons where a governmental body was established. Present day Onadbyr holds an estimated 1200 people in the northern half of the inner walls alongside a small population living in the unpatrolled and uncleared districts.

Districts

Laybarons

The first tasks completed by the newly established Council was the repair of the Laybarons district. Within a year the township had cleaned out the entirety of the district and repurposed it as an administrative district.

Trimarket

The Trimarket was quick to follow. A growing population of wanderers and haven seekers meant living spaces had to be reclaimed as quickly as possible. Thankfully for the Council the Trimarket had been left relatively intact following the towns abandonment. Tradesmen and merchants found shelter in the Trimarket, forming the center of commerce in Onadbyr. Alongside the market and its newly accessible wares and luxuries was the Trimarket Gardens, a community project and place of gathering for many townsfolk. It also served as the main festival grounds for any celebrations.

Ripgate and Markmuse Square

Ripgate and Markmuse Square saw a push for expansion in recent years where once derelict stone townhouses were repurposed for new families. The ever increasing population saw the Councils' reach spread thin. There was little threat from the residents of the town who knew the importance of cooperation, but pests from the uncleared parts of Onadbyr as well as threats from outside the walls led to the establishment of another rung of the Round Table known as Associates. These members took a more direct roll in securing the town and assisting its expansion. Those that weren't granted associate status could also volunteer in the militia. A barracks for those volunteering had been established in the Markmuse Square against the walls of the Lushgarden Citadel to help keep watch over the streets. The bridge directly neighboring it being the only way to cross The Ripper in this area.

Just over the river sits the Markmuse Theatre, an amphitheater just recently cleared of pests.

Little Monarch, Upper Sacks, and Lower Sacks

While these areas aren’t openly dangerous to the new town of Onadbyr, it’s unknown what illicit activity or dangerous creatures remain locked away in its abandoned buildings.

Lushgarden Citadel

The final district and former manor of Onadbyr lays behind its own set of walls. The river entrances are held by a metal lattice grate and the gates leading into the former splendor have been barred - and seemingly welded - shut. A number of expeditions by the daring and brave have been made to scale the walls and investigate the interior. None have returned. The inside of the manor district is wildly overgrown with many plants some of which not native to this region. It's been observed that fish small enough to travel through the metal grates don’t emerge from the other side. It has been given the moniker of Lushgarden Citadel, and the Round Table have forbade the populace from attempting to scale the walls or enter the district under any circumstances, punishable by exile.

Pettyport and outlying Structures

Pettyport serves as another hub of activity, much smaller than the interior of Onadbyr - those that live in Pettyport consider themselves a separate village than a district of the town itself. About 150 people live in the region outside the walls of Onadbyr and serve as the main artery for trade and travel to the south.
